The last of four get-togethers to explore how we can deal with the effects of climate change in Dunoon. Hosted by Grow Food Grow Dunoon.

Join an open friendly Get Together with people of Dunoon to talk about what can we do as a community to be stronger and more prepared for any kind of disruption to our food, water and power supplies. Here in Argyll & Bute we already know how disruptive such events can be and we know that it’s likely they will happen again.

Weather – What if extreme weather hits us in the form of heat waves, droughts, extreme winds, excessive rain? As weather events get more frequent and intense we need to explore how to handle them in our families and as a community.

Everyone is welcome! Learn practical skills, share concerns, have a good conversation, look at solutions together. We will bring our experience and knowledge as we hope you will bring yours. No knowledge necessary though – come with your questions and curiosity.

These get-togethers are funded by ABCAN and supported by Dunoon Community Development Trust.

Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Refreshments provided.

Please note: No parking on site – please park in the Dunoon Stadium car park and follow the signs, walking up the road to the left of the stadium which becomes a path and past the skate park. At the top, turn left (Sanderson Drive) and the entrance to the garden is at the end of the road.
