Venue Historic Kilmun, Kilmun, Argyll and Bute, Scotland, PA23 8SE
Historic Kilmun is delighted to invite you to another choral evening of song, with a mostly Scottish theme, featuring the Kilmun Singers with three soloists accompanied on keyboard by Lynda Norris.
The audience will be invited to join in singing favourites such as Westering Home and Mairi’s Wedding, while the soloists, Sharon Western, Trudie Robson, and Tom Irvine, will all make entertaining contributions to the evening.
The Kilmun Singers will perform not only Scottish pieces, some European folk-based music, as well as English composer Michael Barrett’s vivacious piece entitled ‘He put a New Song in my Heart’.
Instead of dancing, there will be a new vocal arrangement by organist Philip Norris of
The Dashing White Sergeant.
Grant McPhee (HK Volunteer), will add to the evening’s entertainment by reading two poems with a dash of humour thrown in.
Entry is by Donation, with refreshments on arrival.
Donations contribute towards the continuation of this small local charity as a resource for the local area.
All are very welcome!
