We will meet at Grahams Point Car Park in Kilmun for an 11.30am start. The 10.45am bus from Dunoon gets in around 11.10am.

We cross the main road and go up the footpath behind Johnston Avenue. This brings us onto the forest track where we turn left then right and head uphill towards the back of the golf course. When we get behind the golf course, we take a walking path on our left and follow this up to the trig point.

The path on the hill is steep and uneven and boggy in places, so sturdy footwear is a must and walking poles, if you are used to them, will be beneficial. This is an out and back as unfortunately there are too many trees down on the back route onto the hill to be able to walk safely up that way.

Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather and bring snacks and hydration.

A good level of fitness is required for this walk, it is around 7k with 385m of ascent, and will take around 3-4 hours.
