We will meet in Ardyne Forestry Car Park for a 1030am start (just about a mile beyond Toward Sailing Club on the right hand side, signposted).
The ramble will take us up towards the Chinese Ponds at the back of Castle Toward and then onto the forestry track and we will descend via a quad path to the lower walking paths and back to the car park. It should take about an hour and a half.
The route may vary depending on weather and time. It is quite a steep and slippery route in places, so please do wear appropriate footwear (feel free to bring walking poles!).
Please ensure you are wearing appropriate clothing for the weather.
The bus around 9.45am from town gets to the Castle around 10.10am.
