Discover more about the trailblazing women who have called Dunoon home over the centuries. From Highland Mary to Castle Hill defenders, suffragettes to singers, and feminist thinkers to entrepreneurs, this tour brings their stories together for the first time. The walk will leave from Castle House.
This event is part of the Summer schedule at Castle House celebrating 130 years of Dunoon’s Highland Mary statue. Please note this tour will reference violence faced during the witch trials, as well as the legacy of slavery surrounding Castle House.
