Drop In Family Collage Workshop at Castle House Museum

Kick off the Summer holidays with a free craft activity at Castle House- celebrating Highland Mary’s 130th birthday! 🙂

Our family friendly collage workshop is taking place on Saturday 4th of July. Drop in between 1pm and 4pm to help create a collage of Mary herself using copies of photographs, papers, and maps from the Museum collection. We will be joined by textile artist and educator Katie to guide the session. This fun and creative activity is suitable for all ages.

The collage will be part of our new creative project, a community created banner that will celebrate 130 years of Highland Mary’s statue, one of only fifteen monuments in Scotland dedicated to a non-royal, historical, female figure.
