Buachailean Hike – Dunoon on the Move

We will meet for a 10:30 start at Ardyne Car Park, which is about a mile along from Toward Sailing Club on the right, just past the farm.

The hike starts off on walking paths, some of which may be a little slippery underfoot. We cross the forest track, head onto the hillside and follow a well trodden path up to the wall which surrounds ‘The Volcano’ . It is then a short, steep, steppy climb to the summit and trig point, where you will be rewarded with stunning views over the Clyde.

Walking poles may be a good idea. Good footwear and appropriate clothing the for weather is a must. Bring snacks and hydration too!

There is a bus from Dunoon around 09:45 that arrives about 10:10 at the sailing club.
