The association promotes youth bagpipe playing within the Strachur and District area, annual competition and summer school.
Regular concerts and ceilidhs are held Stachur Memorial Hall. From almost its inception the Association has held a Piping Competition and 5 day Summer School at the start of the school summer holidays.
