We are a project that supports young carers throughout Bute and Cowal aged 5 to 24 years who have a caring responsibility for another person, perhaps a parent, step-parent, sibling or grandparent.
We offer support and a break from caring in variety of ways: After School Groups for both Primary & Secondary (Tuesdays in Cowal, Wednesdays in Bute); Monthly Saturday Activities; School Holiday Activities; One to One support; Advocacy; Signposting; Young Carers Statement/Adult Support Plans; Residentials/Trips away; Young Carers Education Card
Planned activities include the following:
- Art & craft
- Dodgeball
- Badminton
- Pottery
- Baking
- Cooking
- Glass painting
- Decoupage
- Junk modelling
- Board Games
- Trips to Hunters Quay holiday village indoor play centre.
