Learn about how our local recycling centre is managed and where our waste goes, as part of Second Hand November, Dunoon.
Renewi manages our waste here in Dunoon and Cowal and they are committed to advancing the circular economy. Renewi operates across the UK and Europe, and is the contractor tasked with running amenity sites in Argyll, including Dunoon.
In this talk, Nick Grove-White from Renewi will explain how they deal with different waste streams coming into the Bogleha recycling centre. He will share some of the challenges and opportunities to increase reuse and recycling locally.
Please arrive promptly, the talk will start sharp at 6.30 pm. There will be opportunities for questions and conversations.
