Sewing Workshop – Cushion Covers

Join us for 3 Saturday afternoon workshops on February 8, 15 & 22, from 1-3pm, to make cushion covers. Hopefully you’ll be surprised how beautiful these can look, made from upcycled clothing & decor fabrics! Included in the course, is a pattern you’ll learn how to read, lay & cut it, as well as get to grips with the making process. You will also make skill-samples of various seams, fastenings and finishings which you will use in making the cushion cover, and learn where to use what skill. Fabric & haberdashery for the skill-samples is included along with printed Sewing Tutor pages on which to make notes and mount the skill-samples. After registering, we will send you recommendations of fabrics you could upcycle and of outlets where you can find fabric & haberdashery, needed for the bag. This project based course will help broaden & build up your own Sewing Tutor how-to guide and you’ll go away with at least one beautiful cushion cover!

The workshops are on the 2nd floor and unfortunately there is no lift.
