Sew Upcycle / Own Project

Love the fabric but not the garment or decor item? Don’t throw it, come with your ideas & upcycle it! … a skirt from trousers, a kimono from a tablecloth, blouse from a scarf …! In this 2-hour workshops, for Beginners to Intermediate, we will work with you to plan and make a new garment or décor item from used fabric. If you need to learn or practice skills to make that happen, we will do that and these can be mounted on the Sewing Tutor portfolio pages you will receive, where you can also sketch your design ideas and make further notes. And if your project is going to need more time or input, there are a whole host of dates to choose from.

All the equipment & tools you will need are provided including a sewing machine, and fabric and haberdashery for all skill-samples. If you need any additional fabric or haberdashery we can plan this with you too and suggest where you can find this locally there’s a haberdasheries just down the road!)

Please note – the workshops are on the 2nd floor and unfortunately there is no lift.
