Hi there,
My Name is Junie, I’ve been sharing Yoga with The Community of Dunoon & Surrounding Areas for over 18 Years.
Have you Ever wanted to Try a particular Style of Yoga Practice without having to commit to a 6 week block booking?
In the New Year I will be offering taster yoga classes locally in Dunoon.
The Classes will run on a Saturday morning /afternoon
Here is A List of Practices to Explore (All Beginners Friendly)
Yin Yoga – A Quiet Meditative practice, where we drop into stillness for long periods of time. Relaxing the muscles and targeting the deeper denser layers of Tissues of the body. As we exist each shape Hydration occurs into the fascial layers of tissues, encouraging circulation & strengthening our bones, ligaments & joints over time.
Slow Hatha Yoga – Exploring Strengthening and Lengthening postures to unite balance. Also moving the spine in all directions, through flexion, extension, side bending and forward bending.
All of these poses can help you feel stronger, spacious & more comfortable in our own bodies. Ultimately encouraging energy to circulate & free flow throughout our system.
Somatics Slow Mindful Movement Yoga – Less about Classical Postures & instead moving our body consciously through space.
Connecting to breath & paying attention to the internal sensations & the experience as it happens in the present moment.
( Breathwork, Relaxation & Meditation will be included within each practice)
Yoga Nidra – Deep Rest Guided Body Scan/ Meditation. A perfect way to unwind – destress & let go of any pockets of holding in body and mind. This style of Yoga is practiced lying down cocooned in a blanket.
Mats will be provided – All you need is a blanket & Small cushion/pillow
