Meet the author – Elissa Soave

Bookpoint are thrilled to announce on Thursday 22nd of May at 6pm, we will be welcoming the wonderful Elissa Soave! A Scottish writer, Soave has an extensive catalogue of published short stories, and even two plays performed in Glasgow and Edinburgh by the Short Attention Span theatre company! We welcome her to Bookpoint where she will be discussing her newest novel “Graffiti Girls”!

The story is a rip-roaring tale of punkish, feminist defiance, following the story of a group of women who refuse to be silenced by a society that tells them they are no longer valuable beyond the age of 40. Fed up with being taken for granted by their families, being passed over for promotions at work and being told that they’re past their best, they take matters into their own hands – but is the town Hamilton ready for the feminist revolution the Graffiti Girls have in store?
