Marine Mammal Medic Course

The British Divers Marine Life Rescue are running another Marine Mammal Medic Course in Dunoon this summer.

If you want to get involved in helping monitor and sometimes rescuing of our beloved marine mammals then why not book on the course. It’s a great course, you learn a lot and have a lot of fun too.

Refreshments & Lunch: Please bring a packed lunch and your own refreshments.

Parking: Free Parking at Glenmorag carpark.

Toilets and changing facilities: Public toilets available for changing.

Lifejackets: The course fee includes the supply of a life jacket but please note that if the life jacket is not returned at the end of the day, a levy of £50.00 will be made for non-return.

Dry & Wet Suits: You must bring a dry suit or wetsuit, boots and gloves as you will be in and out of the water for most of the day. If you are going to wear a wetsuit then you must bring additional weatherproof clothing to wear whilst out of the water to ensure you do not get cold.

The lectures will be online and information regarding these will be sent to you before the course date. The course date itself will be practical only covering whale, dolphin and seal rescue techniques.
