Meet at the St Ives Hotel.
Start your day with a Marine Conservation Sociery beach clean and survey. Led by Claire Hallybone of scuba diving and sea adventure company, Wreckspeditions.
You will not only remove litter from West Bay, but with a bit of guidance from Claire you will learn how to survey the beach and categorise the different types of waste coming off the shore. This important work will contribute to Marine Conservation society research, focused on keeping our shores and waters healthy for people and nature.
Good to know:
– Dress for the weather and wear sensible footwear.

This beach clean and survey is part of a day of activities linked to West Bay Wonder. Small changes to help make West Bay a better place for people, enterprise and the environment.
Led by Dunoon Community Development Trust, this work will inform the development of a Local Place Plan for Dunoon.
