Kimono Jacket – Skills & Project

Learn or refresh skills to make this simple, stylised, yet timelessly elegant garment, the Kimono jacket, to wear with  anything from a pair of jeans to an evening dress! Three, 2-hour workshops, May31, June24 & July1, for beginner to Intermediate.

All the equipment and tools you need are provided for the whole course including a Kimono pattern. If you have your own sewing machine & equipment, it’s a great idea to bring them if you can, to learn on what you will later be using at home. Fabric and haberdashery is also provided for all the skills-samples you will make, along with the Sewing Tutor portfolio pages on which to mount your samples and make further notes. Requirements for fabric & haberdashery for the Kimono will be emailed to you prior to the course starting; why not try upcycling fabric for this project?!

Please note – the workshops are on the 2nd floor and unfortunately there is no lift.
