Beginners Sewing – Skill & Project

Join us for three 2-hour Saturday morning workshops to refresh or learn how to thread & use a sewing machine, & make skill-samples of seams, hems & fastenings, including a zip. You will receive printed Sewing Tutor portfolio pages on which to make notes and mount your skill-samples, so you can gradually build up your very own Sewing Tutor how-to guide!

Everything you need for all the skill-samples will be provided, including a sewing machine, equipment, fabric and haberdashery. For the cushion cover or bag, you will need to bring fabric & haberdashery & we suggest upcycling an old garment or décor item for this. Details of what you need will be sent after registration.

Please note – the workshops are on the 2nd floor and unfortunately there is no lift.
